We’re looking to hire a Customer support representative to join our Customer Success team. This is a full time role at Parse.ly and the successful candidate will work closely with customers troubleshooting software issues and helping to bring them to a quick resolution. The ideal candidate will be someone with strong technical skills and a passion for troubleshooting/solving complex problems (with data!). We’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about their customers and understands how important they are to our business.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact in dealing with support queries via named contacts at customer sites
  • Prioritize, investigate, diagnose and resolve issues relating to Parse.ly services – with specific emphasis on dashboard and API support
  • Liaise with development and engineer teams on issues that cannot be readily resolved at first contact.
  • Ensure that tickets are followed up, kept up to date and properly closed to ensure adherence with SLAs
  • Assist in product testing and research
  • Proactively determine long-term process and product improvements to benefit customers

Requirements

  • Strong technical savvy and ability to pick up new technologies quickly
  • Proven listening and communication skills. Comfortable interacting effectively over the phone, online chat or email
  • High energy and ability to grow and learn in a fast-growing company
  • Familiar with internet technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, various browsers, troubleshooting experience)
  • Computer Science background or programming experience a plus
  • Interest in startup culture, direct experience a plus

Software Engineer

We are hiring a software engineer to work on our real-time analytics dashboard. Pythonistas and JavaScript hackers especially desired.

Our analytics platform helps digital storytellers at some of the web's best sites, such as Arstechnica, New Yorker, Mashable, The Next Web, and many more. In total, our analytics backend system needs to handle over 50 billion monthly events from over 475 million monthly unique visitors.

We are currently looking for software engineers to help us build the best real-time analytics dashboard the world has ever seen. The only requirement is some experience in Python/JavaScript. Parse.ly is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to further accelerate the rapid growth the company has seen in the last 3+ years.
