Sales Operations

The Sales Operations Manager is an integral part of the team that supports and develops applications for client tracking, business reporting, and engineering efficient workflows that support marketing and sales. This position is the liaison between management, strategic planning and analysis roles, and the users of database applications. (S)he troubleshoots and works with internal end-users to ensure that applications meet their needs and keep pace with changes in program operations, policies, and/or procedures. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain key sales performance KPI’s and reporting.
  • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Own sales/leads metrics and market information.
  • Optimize the Salesforce.com platform to increase accuracy of reports, standardize pipeline stages and improve the effectiveness of the CRM for sales and operations.
  • Daily administration and support of Salesforce including but not limited to managing multiple user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations, and general user support.
  • Train new and existing users on how to properly use Salesforce and related 3rd party applications like software for email tracking, document signing, and invoice generation.
  • Review current Salesforce implementation with management and end users. Suggest and implement any changes that would improve workflow, efficiency, data quality.
  • Work with management, strategic planning, and end-users to create and manage workflow rules, data validation, and triggers.
  • Vendor Selection: Review, select, and implement Salesforce plugins for other systems that may or may not already be in use by the company for accounting, billing, marketing, document signing, email tracking.
  • Manage the implementation and testing process for new Salesforce applications, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing.
  • Stay abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain visual force, AppExchanges, Force.com pages and integration to other third party solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users as database applications are developed.

The Ideal Person for this Role

  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS operations; strong understanding of compensations structures, software subscription contracts and SaaS metrics.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce.com and the ability to navigate object models, opportunities, and advanced reporting.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced functions in excel.
  • 5+ years in high-impact, analytical roles in Finance and/or Sales Operations.
  • 2+ years Salesforce experience, Salesforce certification preferred.
  • Ability to deal with complex problems and present recommendations in a clear, concise format.
  • College degree or equivalent work/technical experience.

Sales Development Representative

Parse.ly is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to further accelerate the rapid growth the company has seen in the last 3+ years.
