What is a Performance Report?

A Performance Report gives specific performance breakdown for authors, sections, or tags. It serves as a summary for specifics over a selected date range. Similar to the Weekly Digest Reports, the Performance Report tracks important key metrics through: performance by page views, how people found your content, and most popular of campaign.

The reports can be viewed as an HTML page or through email. Users are able to quickly analyze the information through the use of visually appealing models.

To configure a Performance Report, click Reports in the left rail navigation. Select if you would like to run this report on Author, Section or Tag. On the next screen, you will select if you’d like this to be a single or recurring report by clicking on the toggle in the top left. Here, you will also select date range, comparison range, and the author, section, or tag you would like this performance report to be for.

Click Run Now to create the report. Within the HTML report, you can click into an article and referrers to be brought to related insights in the Parse.ly dashboard.
